How To Install Solar TV On Fire TV / Firestick

Follow this guide to download, install, and log in to Solar TV using Downloader. This version follows the real installation flow customers usually see on current Fire TV devices.

Step-By-Step Firestick Installation

Step 1

Install Downloader

  1. From the Fire TV home screen, select the Search icon.
  2. Search for Downloader.
  3. Select the orange Downloader app by AFTVnews.
  4. Install Downloader, then open it.
Step 2

Open Downloader Code Entry

  1. Open Downloader.
  2. Select the # button in the upper-right corner.
  3. Enter Downloader Code 5906165.
  4. Select Next or Go.
Solar Sam Tip: Using code 5906165 is easier than typing a long website address.
Step 3

Download Solar TV APK/App

After entering the code, the Solar TV download page will load and the Solar TV APK/App will begin downloading.

Important: Do not press Back or Exit while the Solar TV APK/App is downloading.
Step 4

Try To Install Solar TV

When the download finishes, select INSTALL.

  • If Solar TV installs, continue to Step 10.
  • If a security message appears, select Settings and continue to Step 5.

If Security Warning Appears

If Fire TV says your device is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source, select Settings.

This is normal: Some Firesticks require permission before Downloader can install the Solar TV APK/App.
Step 6

Enable Developer Options

  1. Select My Fire TV.
  2. Select About.
  3. Highlight your Fire TV device name.
  4. Press the OK/Select button 7 times.
  5. Continue until you see: No need, you are already a developer.
  6. Press the Back button once.
Step 7

Turn On Installation Permissions

  1. Open Developer Options.
  2. Turn on ADB Debugging.
  3. Open Install Unknown Apps.
  4. Turn Downloader ON.
Success: Downloader is now allowed to install the Solar TV APK/App.
Step 8

Return To Downloader

Press the Back button 2–3 times until you return to Downloader. Usually the Install screen will still be visible.

Step 9

If The Install Button Is Missing

  1. Open the Downloader menu using the three-line menu icon in the upper-left corner.
  2. Select Files.
  3. Select the previously downloaded Solar TV APK/App.
  4. Continue installation.
Do not start over: You do not need to re-enter code 5906165 or download the same file again.
Step 10

Install Solar TV

Select INSTALL and wait for Solar TV to finish installing.

Step 11

Open Solar TV

When installation completes, select OPEN.

Step 12

Login To Solar TV

  1. In Any Name, enter any label you want, such as Living Room, Firestick, or Bedroom TV.
  2. Enter your Solar TV Username.
  3. Enter your Solar TV Password.
  4. Select ADD USER.
Login Tip: Any Name is not your username. Your real login goes in the Username and Password fields.
Step 13

Setup Complete

Congratulations. Solar TV is now installed and ready to use. You can now access Live TV, Movies, Series, Live TV with EPG, Multi-Screen, and Catch Up.

You're ready: Open Solar TV and start watching.
